This Privacy Policy explains how Unshaken ("Unshaken", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (joinunshaken.com), our mobile and web applications, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Unshaken is a mental training program, not a medical or therapeutic service. We do not create or hold clinical health records. Information you log in the app (such as weekly check-in scores) is treated as ordinary personal data, not protected health information.

Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
Usage and progress data — videos and audio you complete, streaks, badges, weekly check-in scores and notes, and posts or reactions you make in the community.
Technical data — device type, app version, and a push-notification token if you enable reminders.
Email engagement — if you join an email list, whether you open or click our emails.

How we use your information

To provide the Service — your account, content access, and progress tracking.
To process your subscription and payments through Stripe.
To send you reminders, program emails, and account notices.
To operate the community and keep it safe.
To improve the Service and understand how it is used.

Service providers we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that run the Service, each acting on our behalf:

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and associated data are deleted from our database. Some records (for example, billing records held by Stripe) may be retained where required by law.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers and industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

Access and correction — view and update your profile in the app.
Deletion — delete your account to remove your personal data; contact us if you need help.
Email — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
Notifications — turn off push reminders in your device settings or in the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.

Children

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

International users

We operate primarily from the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
